Walsh Waste & Recycling is currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Truck Collection Team Member to join our busy collections team.
Working alongside one of our HGV Drivers, you will assist with the collection of waste and recycling materials from customers throughout Galway City. This is a physically active, outdoor role that suits individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Reporting to the Solid Waste Operations Manager, the successful candidate will also assist with general yard duties at our Oranmore facility as required.
About this role
Full category B driving licence.
Assist the driver with the collection and return of customer bins along designated collection routes.
Work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
Deliver a professional, friendly and reliable service to customers at all times.
Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Support general yard operations, including housekeeping and the maintenance and repair of bins.
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure daily collection schedules are completed on time.
Represent Walsh Waste & Recycling in a professional and courteous manner.
