We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to support both children and adults with complex needs.
Available Role: Healthcare assistant - Day shifts - Monday - Friday 11:00 - 17:00 (Live-In Care Assistant opportunities available)
Client: A 22-year-old male living with a brain injury, learning difficulties, and epilepsy (managed with a VNS device).
Pay: Day shifts £13.28 per hour or £133.13 per day + £10 daily food allowance for Live-In
About this role
Role-Specific Responsibilities
Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Assist with daily living tasks (meal prep, shopping, light housekeeping)
Support medication administration and seizure management
Encourage independence and offer emotional support & companionship
Help with community outings and activities
Monitor and report changes in health
Duties include:
Key Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
What We’re Looking For
✔ Caring nature and genuine desire to help others
✔ 6+ months care experience (essential)
✔ Knowledge of epilepsy & challenging behaviour (preferred)
✔ A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
✔ Strong verbal and written English skills
✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team
✔ Basic IT skills for completing documentation
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)

- Minimum 6 months UK care experience
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Strong spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for documentation
- Enhanced DBS required

- Experience with children or complex needs preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle preferred
