We’re a leading therapeutic children’s care provider in the Northwest, supporting young people (8–17) with complex needs, including EBD and challenging behaviours. We’re looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to support the running of our home and lead shifts with confidence and compassion, guided by our values: Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Development, and Equality.
Your Role:
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts and ensuring high standards of care, records, and compliance. You’ll oversee care planning and reviews, support and develop staff, and promote strong teamwork. You’ll champion young people by encouraging independence and responding to challenges with confidence and compassion, while liaising with professionals and upholding company policies.

Lead shifts, delegate tasks, and maintain high care standards
Oversee care plans, records, and compliance
Support, mentor, and develop staff
Promote positive outcomes for young people

What We’re Looking For:
Level 3/4 in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
2+ years’ senior experience in residential childcare
Passion, resilience, and strong leadership skills

What you will need
Required criteria
- 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting at senior level
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
