We’re now looking for a HIAB Driver / Operator to join our friendly and hardworking team in Cornwall.
This is more than just a driving role — you’ll be a key part of the depot, helping deliver our cabins safely to customers across Cornwall and Devon, while also getting involved in preparing units to the high standards we’re known for.
About this role
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering and collecting cabins across Cornwall and Devon
Operating a HIAB (lorry loader crane) safely and efficiently on customer sites
Representing Wernick Hire in a professional and friendly manner
Supporting the depot team with preparation, cleaning and maintenance of cabins
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Working as part of a team to keep the depot running smoothly
Skills and Experience:
Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
CPCS Lorry Loader (HIAB) qualification
Previous HIAB experience (preferred)
Knowledge of the local Cornwall and Devon area would be an advantage
A hands-on, team-focused approach
Someone reliable, safety-conscious and takes pride in their work

Local Area Knowledge: Familiarity with the local Devon & Cornwall area

What you will need

- Knowledge of the local Cornwall and Devon area would be an advantage
