Food & Beverage Assistant
We’re currently seeking Part-Time Food & Beverage Waitstaff to join our friendly and dynamic team. This role requires availability to work both midweek and weekends.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisors, the successful candidate will deliver friendly, efficient service to our guests across the Breakfast, Bar, Restaurant, and Function Rooms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To greet regular customers courteously.
To find appropriate tables and sit guests for dining.
To take food and drink orders in a hospitable manner.
Monitor the bar / restaurant floor to ensure efficient and personalised service is delivered to customers.
Ensure a good working knowledge of the food and drinks on our menus and be willing and able to make recommendations.
Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
To up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible both in the hotel or wider group.
Completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.
About this role
The Ideal candidate:
Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant would be advantageous.
Enjoy working with the public
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
Maximum flexibility with regards to hours/ must be available to work over a 7 day period- Must be flexible to work midweek and weekends
Be a great team player.
Fluent in English.
