As Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering breakfast to our guests, ensuring a delightful and consistent experience. You will complete all preparation and service of breakfast to the highest standards, adhering to the specifications and systems set by the Head Chef, demonstrating your commitment to partnership and shared goals. You will prioritise guest safety and well-being by strictly adhering to all Health and Safety and food hygiene regulations, following all systems and procedures diligently.
This is a full-time role, and the successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week.
About this role
Key Accountabilities
Ensure breakfast is prepared and served to the highest standards, exceeding guest expectations.
Assist in the preparation and service of staff meals, fostering a sense of community and well-being.
Ensure all ordering is completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining appropriate stock levels to minimise waste.
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the efficient and effective running of the kitchen.
Maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to all safety regulations.
Strive for continuous improvement by seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Train and mentor colleagues, sharing your knowledge and supporting their development.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including uniform standards and health and safety regulations.
Report any faults or defects immediately to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Contribute to achieving departmental goals by effectively fulfilling your role and supporting the wider team.
Complete any other reasonable tasks as delegated by your Line Manager and or a Senior Manager.
