About this role
About This Role
As a Practice Development Facilitator, you will play a key role in ensuring our care teams have the skills, confidence, and knowledge to deliver outstanding care. You’ll lead training, support staff development, and help embed a culture of continuous learning across the home.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering induction and mandatory training, ensuring staff achieve Care Certificate standards
Observing, assessing, and coaching staff to promote best practice in care delivery
Designing and delivering tailored learning opportunities using classroom, eLearning, and on‑the‑job methods
Working closely with managers to integrate regulatory changes and maintain high standards
Keeping accurate, up‑to‑date training records and evaluating training effectiveness
Spending 40% of your time in direct care, supporting staff through hands‑on guidance

What you will need
Required criteria
- Satisfactory DBS check
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the care sector, with knowledge of CQC framework.
- Proficiency in Care Certificate standards.
- Exceptional coaching and facilitation skills.
- Strong role modelling and observational capabilities.
Desired criteria
- Recognised training qualification and experience delivering care sector training.
- First Aid at Work and Manual Handling qualifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Car owner/driver, able to travel to diverse locations.
