Due to the successful award of a new contract, we are currently looking to recruit a Painter to join our team. The role will be based primarily in the South Down area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and be part of an exciting new contract.
About this role
· Carry out painting to high quality standard
· Response maintenance as and when required
· Able to work within a performance driven environment and to tight deadlines, ensuring contractual deadlines are delivered
· Communicate with management and Quantity Surveyor
· Itemise the work to be carried out in customers’ dwellings and premises
· Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that CTS Projects Ltd expects
· Dealing with the general public in a professional manner ensuring all customers are treated with dignity and respect.
· Uphold Data Protection Policies
· Undertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the business
· Any other ad hoc projects as required
Health & Safety:
Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
Observe & follow all manual handling practices
In addition,
· As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations, we will require a recent Access NI certificate CTS will perform an Enhanced Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
· Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar an individual from employment. We operate a written policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders, which is available on request and forms part of our employee handbook provided at the point of secure employment.
· We have a policy on the secure handling, use, storage and retention of disclosure information, which is available on request and is also included in our employee handbook.
· The role may also require the successful candidate to undertake work specific training on the job or externally.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Qualified in a relevant trade and be able to provide suitable certification
- Hold a valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience in construction and painting industry
- Demonstrate experience working on Social Housing contracts
