Trainee AutoCAD Designer
Wernick Hire, the UK's largest and longest standing National provider of permanent and temporary modular buildings and site accommodation, is looking for a talented individual to join their team.
We are recruiting for a full time Trainee Designer to join our small team in Chawston Bedfordshire.

About the role
Who we are looking for:
You should be familiar with 2d AutoCAD and Revit (Revit not essential) and have a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
Be a ‘can do’ person with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will have a good technical ability, be a quick learner with strong attention to detail and be passionate about accuracy.
We will provide training so you can learn technical information relative to modular buildings. It would be desirable if you have an awareness/basic knowledge of building regulations but not a necessity.
Work well under pressure in our busy office.
Good timekeeping.
Job responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include interpreting spreadsheet schedules or hand drawn sketches to produce high quality presentation drawings for modular buildings, small cabins layouts, large multi story buildings, elevations, foundation pad layouts and site plans.
Amend, review and issue drawings, record amendments and maintain files.
A full driving license and own transport is essential due to our rural location.
