Our ideal candidate is going to have a relevant 3rd level qualification AND at least two years’ experience in a client facing technology role. If you don’t have a third level qualification but you have 4+ years’ relevant experience, we would still be interested in talking with you. It would also be super awesome if you had at least two years’ experience in a software company. What we would define as the ‘ideal candidate’? The ideal person would have a great blend of client facing communication and problem-solving skills with a flair and natural interest in all things technical but with awareness of commercial pressures. They ideally would have some business analysis and implementation experience in a software company (though we will equip you with these as part of our 2 year training programme). They would need to be: good listeners – we always need to listen to clients' needs before talking about how we can help, detail orientated – you will need to be able to pick up on small, but crucial, pieces of information, and consider how these will affect a project as it proceeds, problem solvers – clients will present issues that will require you to think through options, speak to colleagues and then recommend solutions, well organised – there will lots to do and prioritise, workshops to prepare, software to configure and client milestones to be met, great presenters - be prepared to demonstrate the software to interested clients and finally emotionally intelligent – you will need to build up rapport and trust with clients quickly and easily and work intensively with other colleagues. Basically, you need to be really comfortable with listening to and talking to new people via web conferencing and face to face to help address their grant management needs. Yes, some work experience is required, but if you have the right attributes and attitude we will give you all the training you will need and a defined career path to becoming a Senior Flexi-Grant® Consultant after 2 years. What are the main duties of the role? Presenting Flexi-Grant® to clients in demonstrations. Finding out what the customer wants & understanding their needs. Knowing our Flexi-Grant® software inside out! Configuring and implementing Flexi-Grant® as per our defined approach. Being the key contact for clients via email, & face to face or online. Creating and maintaining projects plans to meet client budgets & timescales. Assessing training needs and developing and delivering end-user training. How long is the standard work week? The standard work week is 35 hours. We also offer Flexi-Working so as long as you’re here during our core hours of 10-12 and 2-4, you can work at times that suit you. That means if you want to start early, finish early, take a long lunch, or a combination of all 3, then you can. There will opportunities to travel to the UK as part of the role and with the growth of the business in future years we anticipate the role may have some international travel too.
