Responsible For: Front Office
The Front Office Supervisor will lead and perform all front desk duties including check-ins, checkouts, reservations, guest phone messages and special requests. The Supervisor will ensure that guests experience a great stay.
Irish Hospitality Experience is essential for this role.
About the role
Mins duties and responsibilities
Supervise the Front Office service within the Hotel
Report and liaise regularly with Operations Manager regarding departmental performance and ensure they are informed of any relevant information or issues
Liaise with relevant departments regarding upcoming events and promotions
Liaise with accounts department to ensure that invoices are correct and that cash procedures are adhered to
Working shift work & weekends, bank holidays/public holidays, ensuring prompt timekeeping and attendance
Ensure breaks are organised in accordance with fluctuations in the volume of business
Carryout any reasonable request by Operations Manager & Departmental Managers
To ensure staff provide a professional and warm welcome to all guests
To actively train and develop the Reception/Reservation’s Teams
To have a thorough understanding of all requirements of the check in/out process (confirm booking, length of stay, package, etc.)
Handle all guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner
What you will need
Required criteria
- Candidate must have at least 2 years customer service experience
- Candidate must have 1 year Irish Hotel Reception Experience
Desired criteria
- Previous experience of managing staff is preferable
- Experience in a similar role
