Warehouse Supervisor
Position Summary:
Due to business growth working with a Global brand in FMCG, we are increasing our team. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee all terminal / warehouse activities on a day to day basis. The successful candidate will need to be available for a September start date.
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. To be successful as a warehouse supervisor you should be experienced in optimising warehousing processes and be an effective team leader.
This role is a 4 on, 4 off days and 4 on and 4 off nights, including weekends.
About the role
Determining staff levels and workloads, you will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, despatching and assuring quality of goods.
You will be ensuring the maintenance of standards and compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
A flexible approach to work, including weekend working is a requirement for this role.
You will be able to measure and report the effectiveness of terminal / warehousing activities and employee’s performance whilst also organising and maintaining inventory and storage areas with a fine eye for detail and accuracy.

Required criteria
- Right to work in the UK
- Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Experience of working with collective agreements
Desired criteria
- Experience with SAP (systems, applications, products) preferred
- Experience with Transporeon (Haulage management software) preferred
- Certification in logistics, supply chain management or business administration (preferred)
