Load Checker - Fresh Despatch -Backshift
The Load Checkers role is to carry out necessary checks and follow instructions to ensure that the correct load is loaded as per the customer or company’s requirements and as outlined within standard operating procedures.
Our Load Checker is responsible for:
Responsible for accurate checking of all finished goods before being loaded onto a vehicle and accurate filing-out of all paperwork related to the load being checked.
Responsible for passing on any information that may benefit the company in reducing loading times, enhance the quality of customer’s products and improve the working environment.

Ensure good housekeeping is maintained at all times.
Ensure Health and Safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
Report immediately to a manager Incidents and situations potentially hazardous to the health and safety of personnel and equipment that come to your notice.
Responsible for ensuring all materials used, are looked after and stored away in the correct place after use i.e. Clipboards, pens, blank load plans etc.
Any other duties as requested to service customer requirements.
About the role
HOURS OF WORK & RATES OF PAY (Options Available):
Back-Shift: Sunday 9-5, Monday – Thursday 5pm – 1 am and every second Saturday
Rate of Pay
£10.52 per hour + 50p per hour shift allowance
LOCATION
251 Stirling Road, Riggend, Airdrie, ML6 7SP
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to learn, be a good team player, have an ability to pay attention to detail, and have a strong sense of good customer service.
The role will involve attaining Company production targets to satisfy customer demands, very often to tight schedules.
