Recruitment and Retention Team Leader

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious Recruitment and Retention Team Leader to successfully lead our Recruitment team.

Using your experience within the recruitment sector, you will seek and build mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders and colleagues. You will proactively identify new opportunities and methods to attract a diverse range of candidates to join Altogether Care. Effectively lead, develop and motivate colleagues to drive continuous improvement and improve the customer experience. You will have a high attention to detail and accuracy, great communication skills, and be able to effectively multitask. You should have a good insight into current recruitment and retention challenges within the care sector.

Working Hours

40 hours per week.

Monday - Friday, between 08.30hrs - 18.30hrs

About the role

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

The successful candidate will:

Manage all aspects of recruitment activity ensuring compliance with legislation, regulators, and Standards.

Develop and implement creative recruitment campaigns online and in collaboration with local managers, within the local community.

Manage the end to end candidate experience creating a positive and engaging proposition.

Continually review and evolve the recruitment and selection process to ensure it reflects good practice/current thinking, enables the Altogether Care to attract a diverse pool of candidates and reduces any risk/additional cost on vacancies not being filled.

Working closely with partners, stakeholders and with the operational managers determine and progress the resourcing needs for new business including permanent, temporary, apprentices and agency workers.

Manage the use of digital technology platforms such as Indeed, Total jobs and ATC website to ensure the vacancy is filled in an efficient and timely manner and within agreed budgets.

Maintain the job pages on social media sites, ensure they are up to date, and represent the Altogether Care.

Ensure the Altogether Care remains compliant with legislation and CQC requirements by carrying out the Right to Work checks and ensuring all data is accurate.

Support the recruitment budget, by recording and tracking all costs associated with the recruitment and selection process.

Ensure all recruitment practices and processes are compliant with HR Policies, Employment Legislation and GDPR requirements.

To establish and engage with a wide range of stakeholders across academia, NHS, industry, and charities to expand our workforce

What we are looking for:

A good working knowledge, across all aspects of the recruitment and selection process, with an understanding of the challenges within the social care sector.

Work experience of providing a proactive and flexible recruitment service that focus’s on the operational and strategic goals and priorities.

Excellent communicator, with an ability to build relationships, inspire confidence, and respect at all levels. Demonstrates strong negotiation, influencing and decision-making skills.

Demonstrable experience of leading teams to deliver consistent quality with a proactive and pragmatic approach and identifies ways to deliver creative innovative solutions.

Excellent listening skills, receptive to feedback and demonstrates flexibility, curiosity, and an ability to learn.

A strong leader who can work as part of a team, independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent management and planning skills, with an ability to work to targets and deadlines and prioritise work in accordance with the organisational needs.

Focused with good attention to detail and able to remain calm under pressure.

Strong ethical standards and a high level of personal integrity, lives our values.
