required.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Washing and laundering of residents clothes\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Communication:\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Participating in Staff and Resident meetings as required.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Informing the Head of Support Services of any special cleaning requests e.g. soiled bedspreads.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Training & Development:\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Attending mandatory training days \u002F courses, on or off site, as and when required.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Maintaining professional knowledge and competence.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Health & Safety:\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Adhere to the Home’s Disposal of Waste policy.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Making certain that chemicals \u002F equipment are used and stored correctly and safety procedures adhered to at all times.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Reporting immediately to the Home Manager, or Person in Charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a Resident, colleague, self or another.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Understanding and ensuring the implementation of the Home’s Health and Safety, Infection Control and Hygiene policies, and Emergency and Fire procedures.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Reporting to the Home Manager, or the Handyperson, any faulty appliances, damaged furniture, equipment or any potential hazard.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Promoting safe working practice in the Home.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>General:\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Contributing to the safeguarding of adults by ensuring you are aware of your role in relation to the Home’s Safeguarding Adult’s Policy, taking steps to protects Residents from any form of abuse or neglect and use the appropriate reporting mechanisms to inform the Home’s Management of any concerns.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Adhering to all new, and changes in Local and Central Government initiatives as and when they are implemented.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Promoting and ensuring the good reputation of the Home.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Ensuring that all information of confidential nature gained in the course of duty is not divulged to third parties.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>· Notifying the Head of Support Services, Home Manager, or the Person in Charge, as soon as possible of your inability to report for duty, and also on your return to work
