accurately and within agreed deadlines.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Process payroll for hourly paid and salaried employees, including overtime, shift allowances, deductions, statutory payments and other payroll adjustments.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure all payroll changes are appropriately authorised and documented.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with current UK legislation, HMRC requirements and company policies.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Calculate and process statutory payments and deductions, including PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions, student loan deductions and other applicable deductions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Complete payroll reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission and payment.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Prepare and submit required HMRC payroll information, including Full Payment Submissions (FPS) and Employer Payment Summaries (EPS), where applicable.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Ensure year-end payroll processes are completed accurately and within statutory deadlines, including P60s and relevant employee documentation.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Support the administration of workplace pension auto-enrolment and ongoing pension-related payroll requirements.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Maintain and administer the Company’s time and attendance and payroll systems, ensuring accurate employee and working-hours data.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Monitor hours worked, overtime and other payroll-relevant information received through the time management system.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Register new employees and maintain employee records within the relevant payroll and time-management systems.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Work closely with Production and Line Management to resolve discrepancies between recorded hours, approved timesheets and payroll data.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Identify opportunities to improve the integration, efficiency and accuracy of payroll and time-management processes.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase payroll efficiency, accuracy and automation.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Work closely with the HR and Finance teams undertaking other reasonable duties consistent with the responsibilities of the role.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Ful>\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cu>The Person-Essential:\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-volume UK payroll processing, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, production or similarly complex environment.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Proven experience processing both weekly and monthly payrolls.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Experience managing payroll for a sizeable hourly paid workforce, including overtime, shift patterns and variable pay.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments and payroll deductions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Experience using payroll and time-and-attendance systems; experience with Sage Payroll\u002FSage Micropay.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Strong Excel skills and confidence working with payroll data and
