The QHSE Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems. \u003C\u002Fp>","\u003Cp>The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and industry standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and risk reduction across the business.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Key duties will also include developing, implementing and maintaining SMD’s certification with ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Other key duties include:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Supporting the Group’s management review processes.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Producing monthly QHSE performance analysis, reporting to the Head of CI.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Providing ideas, opportunities and challenges across all business streams to instil continuous improvement.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Support and facilitate improvement activities in SMD implementing best practices for change management\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Monitor safety and quality standards and ensure compliance with these requirements.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Liaising with external bodies such as the Environmental Agency, Local Authorities, Regulators and LRQA.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Supporting fire risk assessment audits annually at each UK site.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Carrying out accident investigation with the injured party and report significant findings.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Lead root cause analysis investigation on major HSER’s and NCR’s. Through 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa diagram and FMEA methodologies.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Quarterly review of key databases for trend analysis, such as, Risk Register, NCR’s, Services Cases, Warranty spend, Infield reports and incidence etc.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•       Chair monthly Senior Quality Review reviewing Infield issues, Major NCRS and customer feedback.  Tracking those items the company will invest in long term resolutions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>What skills and qualifications do I need?\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>This person should have formal qualifications or relevant experience in a Quality or a HSE subject.  Experience with Continuous Improvement activities.
