Gas and Maintenance Person
We are looking for a Gas and Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa in Axbridge, Somerset. Terrific competitive salary!
This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business. This position will be based between Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa and Hawkchurch Resort & Spa in Devon so the ability to travel is essential.

About the role
Main responsibilities:
The successful Gas and Maintenance Assistant will
· Be responsible for the day to day running of gas works across the resort.
· Ensure all audits are completed thoroughly.
· Ensure that paperwork is kept up to date and all certification is clear and in date.
· Support with the annual programming of all rental fleet gas certifications, to comply with required regulations.
· Oversee and complete gas works within new sales units as required.
· Maintain the highest standards with due regard to budgetary control.
· Keep clear and accurate records of checks, audits and renewals.
Requirements:
Previous experience is essential along with a Current Gas Safe qualification for this position. The successful candidate is preferred to have excellent communication skills and strong customer service skills. A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to travel involved.
