Loughside will be home to over 200 dedicated professionals delivering personalised care tailored to each individual. Commissioned in partnership with the Northern Health Trust and developed to meet the highest RQIA standards, it represents a bold step forward in transforming care in Northern Ireland.
The Role
The role of a Registered Nurse in our Mental Health services is a pivotal role in providing specialised care and support to residents with mental health needs, promoting wellbeing and enhancing their quality of life. The Registered Nurse is a leadership role, you will play a vital part in managing the care of our residents and providing high-quality and person-centred care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
We pride ourselves on being able to deliver complex care to our residents, as the Registered Nurse you will support the management of shifts, ensuring the safety of all residents and our team. The role of Registered Nurse is always evolving and having a commitment to personal and professional development will ensure that you are able to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
About the role
The Responsibilities
Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all resident care plans and communicate the outcomes to the team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all risk assessment documentation is kept up to date.
Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care.
Deputise in the absence of the Unit Manager.
Support and supervise new staff.
Manage the assessment, implementation and evaluation of individual patient care plans while promoting a professional working environment to ensure a high standard of resident care.

Required criteria

- A good standard of written and oral English
- Valid UK NMC pin- Mental Health
Desired criteria
- Minimum of 6 months mental health nursing experience
- Previous care home experience
