Health & Safety Administrator- Toomebridge

We are currently seeking a permanent Health & Safety Administrator to join our busy team in Toome.
The successful candidate will act as a support to the Health & Safety Team, in the day to day administration and coordination of the department and it's activities.
Liaison with Departmental Managers, external contractors, and hauliers to maintain company database;
Liaison with Departmental Managers, external contractors, and hauliers to schedule online inductions via the company H&S portal;
Input of data & reports to company health safety database and the health & safety management system;
Compilation of data for monthly H&S reports, statistics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for review;
Creation of folders and packs for H&S team;
Creation of training materials including presentations;
Minute taking at team meetings;
Serving as a point of contact for H&S enquiries, liaising with staff, contractors, suppliers, and external H&S;
Organisation and booking of H&S training sessions and meetings as required;
General office duties including filing, updating, scanning, copying, emails and answering phones;
Other administrative duties as they arise
About this role
Essential Criteria
At least 2-3 years previous experience in an Administration role or equivalent.
Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and an ability to learn H&S management software or databases
GCSE English and Maths at grades A*-C (grade 9-4) or equivalent;
Excellent attention to detail;
A good team player;
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal;
A ‘can-do’ attitude;
Self-motivated. Able to work on own initiative whilst working in a team environment;
Able to prioritise, multi-task and understand the importance of deadlines and working to achieve these;
Good telephone manner essential;
Full driving licence.
