We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IMS & Improvement Advisor to support our IMS Lead in ensuring continued compliance with ISO standards across our office, site, and factory operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, monitoring, and improving our integrated management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) standards
About the role
Role Summary
Support the IMS Lead in maintaining compliance with all ISO standards and company policies.
Conduct and report on internal audits across office, site, and factory locations.
Play a leading role in external audits, liaising with auditors and coordinating audit activities to ensure successful outcomes.
Maintain and update IMS documentation, procedures, and records.
Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely close-out.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support their implementation.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across all departments to promote a culture of compliance and shared accountability.
Provide advice, support, and training to staff on IMS processes and compliance requirements.
Stay up to date with changes in relevant legislation, standards, and best practice, ensuring the company remains compliant.
Support the development and delivery of compliance performance reports and key metrics for management review.
Champion the company’s commitment to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements to drive operational excellence, compliance and continuous improvement across all functions.

What you will need
Required criteria
- Experience in maintaining and improving an IMS.
- IMS Internal Auditing Qualification (CQI, IRCA, BSI or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication, problem solving and teamwork abilities
Desired criteria
- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Quality, or Environmental Management
- Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment is desirable
- Previous experience with Constructionline, Achilles and/or Considerate Contractor Scheme is desirable.
