Trainee Technical Operator

About the role
Salary Ranged from £35,385 to £36, 145.
Shifts we work: various shift patterns, including 12-hour shifts on a rotating day and night schedule.
2 Set Pattern: Runs 4 x 12-hour shifts back-to-back – either Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri.
4 Set (Continental) Pattern :12-hour shifts rotating between 4 days and 3 days each week. Every other weekend.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Minimum of 2 years in a technical/mechanical role
- Good manual dexterity skills
- Proactive in solving technical/process issues
- Clear understanding of performance targets
- Familiarity with day-to-day activities (housekeeping, H&S, recycling, energy efficiency)
Desired criteria
- Technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering
- Familiarity with plastics processing and extrusion experience
- Experience in TPM, preferably in a continuous processing environment
- Shift work experience (including nights and weekends)
