After-School Childcare Assistant

We are MR-Sports, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and proud to be a leading provider of children’s sports and activity programmes. Our goal is simple: to create fun, inclusive, and high-quality opportunities for children both during school hours and beyond. Over the years, we’ve built a reputation as a flexible, child-centred organisation that schools, parents, and families can rely on.

We currently work with more than 80 schools across Belfast and Northern Ireland, delivering PE and curriculum-based sessions, along with a wide range of after-school clubs. Every programme is tailored to fit seamlessly into a school’s timetable and facilities, making it easy for staff while ensuring every child has the chance to take part and thrive.

Outside of school, we run immersive holiday camps for children aged 4 to 13. These camps are designed to bring together fun, fitness, and personal growth during Easter, summer, mid-term, and Halloween breaks. Alongside this, we provide childcare services, birthday parties, and evening and weekend classes, making us a genuine one-stop shop for schools, parents, and communities.

Our mission is driven by a passion for the health and well-being of children. We believe sport and physical activity are vital for developing not just physical fitness, but also confidence, resilience, and social skills.

Through our charitable work, including our “Donate” initiatives, we go further—supporting disadvantaged children, promoting community development, and ensuring that access to sports and well-being is available to everyone, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance.

We pride ourselves on being adaptable. Whether it’s fitting into school timetables, making the most of facilities, or tailoring sessions for different needs, we create flexible programmes that work for everyone. Beyond the school day, we provide wraparound support through after-school clubs, holiday camps, childcare, and birthday parties, often in partnership with Ruby Roos, so that families can rely on us all year round.

Our community focus extends further—through events, celebrations, and sharing advice with parents and caregivers. While we bring fun, energy, and creativity to every session, we also operate with professionalism, clear communication, and strong values.
