We are looking for a Bar Manager to ensure efficient, secure, and profitable operations within all bars and surrounding bar area, To ensure the expected high standards of customer service, health, and safety, cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in the bar areas as a whole.

About the role
Main tasks and duties
To ensure smooth operational procedures within the bars
To plan, organise, delegate, and overall directing of the department
To maintain and adhere to the company's health and safety policies
To maintain and operate bar areas
To ensure positive customer care by all staff
To operate and balance the cash till at the end of every shift
To document any complimentary drinks or food to pass onto the stock taker;
To document any wine packages to pass onto the stock taker;
To attain a set stock take percentage every week;
To order and maintain adequate stocks of all drinks, wines, spirits and ancillary items in the bar;
To maintain proper and accurate records of all sales, customer accounts as required;
To ensure all opening/closing procedures and security
property and customers as a whole;
are adhered to for the protection of staff.
To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance;
To ensure facilities hygiene standards are maintained to the hotel standard;
To promote and sell the hotel and its products with a friendly and helpful manner;
To oversee the health, safety and welfare of customers using the facilities;
To deal and handle with customer complaints and requests;
To attend training courses as and when necessary;
To ensure effective communication within the bar department and peers;
To promote equal opportunities and cultural diversity;
To ensure and actively encourage
staff training and development to improve performance moral;
To train and supervise all bar staff to the adequate level as set by management;
To implement all policies and procedures as devised by management;
To order, check and accept deliveries of goods and equipment as necessary;
To ensure adequate cover at all times in line with hotel targets and goals;
To ensure that due care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, residents,members and any other persons on the premises;
Report and where appropriate take action on any incident, fire, loss or damage;
To report all maintenance issues and take appropriate action;
To attend departmental meetings for monthly reports;
Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by the management.

- Right to Work in the United Kingdom
- Good Command of English Language
- Must have a professional appearance
- Need transportation due to location
- Minimum 2 years bar experience and 1 year management role
