We currently have opportunities for committed, enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our award-winning team.Our Lady's Care Home in Belfast is a purpose-built service which has 98 large en-suite bedrooms. Located in the heart of west Belfast, the home has superb links with the local community and delivers nursing care with an ethos of 'excellence as standard'.Our Lady's Care Home offers its own in-house occupational therapy service which is based on engaging residents in meaningful and occupational processes to support independence, recovery and sustain hobbies and interests of all who reside there.Nursing is at the core of Our Lady's, the most clinically competent, capable workforce strive to deliver gold standard care 24-hours a day, we have 2 Dementia Units and 2 Nursing units which work effortlessly to ensure the comfort and high standard of care for our residents.

About the role

Job Purpose
As a valued and respected member of the nursing team you will be responsible for delivering excellence in care in compliance with Company, NMC, RQIA and HSCT requirements.

You will be trusted to ensure the health and well-being of residents by creating a safe and supportive environment that will enhance their quality of life.  Responsibilities will range from developing tailored care plans, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, relying on your professional judgement to make clinical decisions, administering medicines, maintaining resident records and providing professional support to care staff.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • RGN/RMN Qualification
  • NMC Registration
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

Desired criteria

  • Nursing of the Elderly in a Nursing Home Setting
  • Demonstratable skills to effectively lead a team
  • 1 years’ experience in a similar role
