Conference & Banqueting Steward
We have an exciting opportunity at The Culloden Estate and Spa.
To be responsible for serving meals and beverages for the greatest enjoyment of the guests and maximum profit contribution to the hotel and assist with the setting up of function/meeting rooms in accordance with guest requirements.
About the role
- To serve and assist guests within the function/meetings area.
- To provide the highest standards of service to guests, ensuring all guests needs and expectations are met.
- To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and to be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
- To set up function and meeting rooms in accordance with guest requirements.
- To ensure that function rooms and guest areas are maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
- To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect.
- To ensure that any complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and in an efficient manner and reporting them to the Supervisor/ Manager on duty.
- Any other duties as required by management.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Right to Work in the United Kingdom
- Good Command of English Language
- Must be educated to GCSE level or the equivalent with Grades A_C in English and Maths.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have a professional appearance.

- Previous experience in a similar position.
