About the role

Role Overview:
As our Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our care home, serving as a key leader and advocate for both residents and staff. You will oversee the smooth functioning of the facility, ensuring that each resident’s needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support staff performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Facilitate regular team meetings to address staff concerns and share updates.

  • Identify and implement training opportunities for staff professional growth.

  • Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.

  • Oversee the facility’s budget and expenses, ensuring efficient operations.

  • Collaborate with external agencies to help residents access additional services.

  • Develop emergency preparedness plans and ensure staff training.

  • Regularly assess the quality of care and gather feedback from residents and families.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies and the Board.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of experience providing direct supervision in a Level 4i regional centre vendored facility for [adults/children].

  • At least 21 years old.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Completion of DSP Year 1 & 2 certification.

  • Active Community Care Licensing (Group Home or Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certificate).

  • CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/Prevention Certification.

  • Current background fingerprint clearance.

  • Successful completion of a health screening and a negative TB test.

  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Must have a minimum of 12 months’ experience supervising or managing care services in a Level 4i residential facility or a similar care setting?
  • have a strong understanding of Title 17 and Title 22 requirements, including compliance with licensing and accreditation standards for care facilities?
  • hold relevant certifications, including an active Administrator Certificate (Group Home or Adult Residential Facility), DSP Year 1 & 2, CPR/First Aid, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/Prevention, along with strong leadership and organisational skills?
