Trainee Welder/Fabricator
We currently have a vacancy for Trainee Welders/Fabricators to be based in our Burnley factory.
We are offering competitive rates of pay and excellent exposure to a highly-skilled manufacturing process. We also offer an enhanced employers pension contribution of 4% combined with full P.P.E. and tool kit (Boiler Suit, Boots & Air-Fed Helmets) as part of the position.
Crossland Tankers has grown from a tanker repairs and servicing company, providing maintenance services to local bulk liquid haulage companies into one of the largest tanker manufacturers within the UK and Ireland. About the role
The trainee welder/fabricator role within Crossland Tankers includes the following responsibilities;
Participate in on-the-job training provided by line manager/ team leader/ team members.
Adhere to information, instruction, training and supervision provided to gain the knowledge, skills and expertise required for the job role and ensure your health, safety and welfare at all times.
Work independently (under supervision) and as part of a team as and when required.
Ensure all work is completed on time and effectively whilst adhering to scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards.
Other reasonable responsibilities as required by management.
Any other duties including but not limited to Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental matters as required.

Today, we employ over 130 people across our two manufacturing sites at Swatragh (Northern Ireland) and Burnley (Lancashire) and are one of the leading tanker manufacturers in the UK and Ireland.
