Maintenance Assistant - Stormont Hotel
We have an exciting role at The Stormont Hotel.
To assist with the maintenance of the Hotel for the maximum safety and enjoyment of the guests, and also the maximum resource efficiency for the Hotel and its staff.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the general upkeep of the hotel, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standard.
About the role
Key Tasks
- To assist with routine and remedial work to ensure equipment and utilities are maintained as appropriate.
- To assist with ensuring adequate and appropriate spares and parts stock and records are maintained.
- To assist in ensuring all emergency equipment is maintained in working order and procedures are effective and implemented, and appropriate training is carried out.
- To assist with the maintenance of a safe environment in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene and security legislation and company polices and procedures.
- To assist with the maintenance of effective communication and relationships with other hotel departments, suppliers and agencies to maintain an effective operation and ensure guest satisfaction.
- To assist in promoting and encouraging a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
- Any other duties as required by management.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Must be educated to GCSE standard or the equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths
- Right to Work in the United Kingdom
- Good Command of English Language
Desired criteria
- Should have previous experience in dealing with the daily maintenance of commercial properties
