Spa Receptionist
We have an exciting opportunity at The Culloden Estate and Spa.
To handle guest enquiries and schedule treatments, meet and greet guests upon their arrival in the Spa, ensuring an efficient, professional and friendly service.
About the role
- To be fully conversant with the treatments, facilities and services within the spa and hotel.
- To be fully conversant with pricing structures to be able to effectively sell the spa services.
- To take bookings for treatments, ensuring information is recorded correctly on the spa scheduling system.
- To receive and depart guests, ensuring that the guest is provided with the appropriate assistance and information to get the greatest enjoyment from their visit.
- To complete all administrative duties in relation to the efficient running of the department.
- To ensure that the reception area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
- To receive payment and operate till, ensuring accuracy of prices charged and change given.
- To balance bank, cash and all transactions at the end of shift.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
- To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
- To maintain the presentation of the Reception area in accordance with Hastings standards.
- To ensure that guest concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Manager on duty.
- To ensure all guest enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
- To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as required by management.
