To handle guest enquiries and schedule treatments, meet and greet guests upon their arrival in the Spa, ensuring an efficient, professional and friendly service.

About the role

  • To be fully conversant with the treatments, facilities and services within the spa and hotel.
  • To be fully conversant with pricing structures to be able to effectively sell the spa services.
  • To take bookings for treatments, ensuring information is recorded correctly on the spa scheduling system.
  • To receive and depart guests, ensuring that the guest is provided with the appropriate assistance and information to get the greatest enjoyment from their visit.
  • To complete all administrative duties in relation to the efficient running of the department.
  • To ensure that the reception area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
  • To receive payment and operate till, ensuring accuracy of prices charged and change given.
  • To balance bank, cash and all transactions at the end of shift.
  • To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
  • To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
  • To maintain the presentation of the Reception area in accordance with Hastings standards.
  • To ensure that guest concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Manager on duty.
  • To ensure all guest enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively. 
  • To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties as required by management.
