We currently have an opportunity for a maintenance assistant to join our award-winning team.

Working across 3 our homes: Leabank Care Home Ballycastle, Ratheane Care Home Coleraine and Milesian Manor Lifestyle Care Home Maghera

About the role

Basic Function: To carry out repairs, service checks, maintenance, gardening and general up-keep of grounds across all Group locations as per Management instruction.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Full driving licence and access to own car for travelling as required
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Must have a good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation

Desired criteria

  • General knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Previous experience of undertaking PATS testing
  • Electrician/plumbing certificate
  • Experience of Medical equipment repairs
