Traffic Management Supervisor

The role is to oversee a team of Traffic Management Operatives

Organise logistics and scheduling of workload

Liaise internally with Supervisors and Managers to ensure traffic management is co-ordinated effectively and in a timely manner

Process Traffic Permits for road / lane closures and liaise with Transport N.I. to ensure permits are processed effectively

Training is provided to allow progression throughout the company

HOURS - 07:00 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday)

About the role

With at least 6 months experience in a Traffic Management Supervisory role, you will oversee the day to day running of a team of Traffic Management Operatives and report to the TM Manager on a regular basis

Must have logistics experience and ability to communicate effectively

Must be able to organise daily workload, producing work packs for the TM Operatives, in line with company requirements

The ability to plan and prioritise work for different teams

Experience in organising Traffic Permits

Familiar with creating and processing TM signage

Communicate Tool Box Talks to the TM Operatives

A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations, and ability to relay to the TM Operatives 

Good written skills is essential, together with computer literacy in Excel and Word (training will be given on our bespoke systems)

  • 6 Months experience as a Traffic Management Supervisor
  • 12D Lantra Training
  • Full Driving Licence (B&E)
  • Brics CAD with cone 11 software
  • T6 & T5 Training

Desired criteria

  • CSR Training
  • B+E Trailer Licence
