•Provide effective 1st/2nd line IT system support for Stores and Head Office - Hardware & Software•Liaising with 3rd party support teams to resolve IT issues•Preparation, Installation and Deployment of all new IT user/PC set ups•Basic server administration•Office 365 administration•Troubleshooting and logging calls for hardware and software issues for Laptops, PCs, Printers and Scanners•Maintain various systems within the Company •Remote Support to all users•Provide user training to end users on new and existing software•Implement Scheduled Maintenance with all employees locally and remotely. •Supporting Windows 10, Windows 2012, 2016 & 2019•Supporting backup and recovery systems including Veeam and Azure File Sync•Complete GDPR IT related duties•Ensure security of company information systems, both Physical and electronic•Preparation of yard tour equipment (as necessary) •Maintain and keep an updated inventory of all IT supplies – report back to IT Manager to order as required •Replace any IT devices as required by Senior IT•Maintain a tidy and organised IT Office & Server Room •Act in a confidential and trustworthy manner at all times•Communicate any problems, uncertainties or training issues to your manager•Deal with users in a courteous, professional and efficient manner at all times

What you will need

Required criteria

  • 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths A – C.
  • BSC in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree
  • Computer problem solving, maintenance & remote support
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office.
  • 1 years’ experience working in an IT Systems/ Support role
  • Professional
  • Trustworthy.
  • High attention to detail.
  • High degree of initiative
  • Adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Confident dealing with end-users
  • Strong multi-tasking, organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Desired criteria

  • Experience of supporting across multiple sites
  • Cloud based telephony system.
  • Full and clean driving licence.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, O365 and MS Exchange
  • Working knowledge of networked computer systems.
  • Management of fleet of Multi-function Devices CP/IP, LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure.
