About the role

  • Delivery of major contracts and their key performance indicators as required by all clients
  • Management of client relationship & service delivery.
  • Lead service delivery across all NI contracts ensuring appropriate methods are used in conjunction with maximum operational efficiency 
  • Support all senior and middle management teams in effective delivery of contracts
  • Lead manage and direct all senior and middle management 
  • Playing a leading role in recruitment, training, and development of senior and middle management team
  • Ensure effective reporting is delivered weekly to the Board of Directors 
  • Review the appropriate organisational structure to deliver services in line with the business priorities and service obligations.
  • Ensure corporate and contractual governance.
  • Financial budgetary and full P&L understating across all contracts
  • Assist operationally in strategic planning for future contracts 
  • Chair and attend monthly contract meetings and provide minutes / reports to Directors.
  • Prepare a root cause analysis on risk incidents and action plan management
    Adhoc leadership of project teams
  • Prepare detailed quarterly reports for the board and present same

What you will need

Required criteria

  • 10 years’ senior management experience in construction industry
  • Extensive Management experience at senior level
  • Knowledge of Contracts both NEC and with NHF being desirable
  • Recognised Construction Qualification (BSc/HNC/HND)
  • Possess an understanding of construction processes & methodology
  • Understand construction measurement principles
  • Strong IT skills (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • Be capable of working on own initiative
  • Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Can work and lead a senior team
  • Be a good team player
  • Demonstrate ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards assigned tasks
  • Participate in overtime when required (including weekends)
  • Have ability to take on new skills
  • Have a positive approach to continuous improvement processes and techniques
