Senior Compliance Manager
To plan the daily routes schedules for both Ambient and CFF ,which will require an excellent geographical knowledge of UK/Ireland and should have at least 2 years’ experience in a busy planning office.
About the role
With responsibility for the Companies Operator Licences, the Senior Compliance Manager will operate alongside the Transport Manager in leading the department to deliver a high level of efficiency, legal compliance, and sector leading customer service. Supporting to deliver transport efficiencies and reducing our environmental impact.
As the Senior Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the compliant and efficient management of the Company’s transport operation and the continued development and improvement of driver standards. You will be required to be a CPC holder and will be supported by several other CPC holders and a small administration team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has held the position of Compliance Manager running a fleet of 60 plus vehicles
- Has strong experience in managing the compliance and health & safety aspects of running a large fleet
- Has worked in a business with over 100 employees.
- Is a confident, methodical, clear thinker and who can prioritize and make well thought out decisions.
- Has excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
- A real ‘People Person’ that communicates well and has a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Is able to build relationships and work well with our Management Team.
- Is able to drive a culture of excellence.
- Is used to providing reports and KPI’s to the Leadership team on a regular basis.
- Is capable of preparing reports for Leadership meetings.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Educated to A Level or equivalent with minimum Grade C achieved in GCSE Math’s and English
- At least 3 years minimum experience in Transport Management
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in using Microsoft Packages
- Working knowledge of H&S best practice and legislation
- Working knowledge of Food Safety best practice and legislation, including HACCP plans
- Working Knowledge of the EU WTD and Drivers hours
Desired criteria
- Educated to HND or Degree level or equivalent
- International CPC
- Ideally experience to have been gained in FMCG
- Working knowledge of in-house bespoke Warehouse Management Systems
- Knowledge of Telematics/Tracking systems
