Welcome to Tobermore’s Graduate Sales Management Programme.  

(Two Year Fixed Term Contract - Positions available throughout UK.)  

At Tobermore your personal and professional development is at the Heart of everything we do.   Our Graduate Development programme will provide you with exciting challenges and opportunities to learn about and from our experienced sales teams. Throughout your 24 months you will spend time in each of our key sales functions, learning about key Tobermore products, sales strategies, and sales techniques. To support your ongoing personal development, you will have the opportunity to attend personal development learning workshops with the People Team, twice in each rotation. About the role

September 2022
Our graduate programme will begin in September 2022. In your first month you will experience Tobermore’s onboarding programme which will give you the opportunity to learn more about our history, our products, values, and our mission. You 
will learn about and meet key members of all our various group functions such as Accounts, Transport, Marketing, and our 
Customer Relationship Management team. 


October 2022-Feb 2023
In October you will begin your first rotation in our Business Development team. Our Business Development team focus on 
identifying new business opportunities with key customer groups such as Landscape Architects, Groundworkers and Engineers. 
In this rotation you will have the opportunity to learn about the cycle of a project, Lead generation tools used in Tobermore and 
how Tobermore use their Value-Added services to sell our products.


March 2023-Jul 2023
In March you will move to our specification team for your second rotation. Our Specification team are focused on building awareness of Tobermore products with key customer groups such as Architects, Engineers and Local authorities aiming 
for Tobermore products to be specified on construction plans. In this rotation you will develop your knowledge and 
understanding of the world of specification and can learn about our design services and shadow meetings with key customer 
types such as Landscape architects and engineers.


August 2023-Dec 2023
In August you will move to your third rotation- our housebuilding team. Our Housebuilding building team are focused 
promoting Tobermore products and services to customer groups within the housebuilding sector. In this rotation you 
will have the opportunity to learn about House building markets, using social media such as LinkedIn to sell effectively and 
systems used to track projects and sales.

Jan 2024-May 2024
In your final rotation you will join our commercial sales team. Our commercial team are focused on influencing our 
targeted customer groups to secure orders for Tobermore products. In this rotation you will have the opportunity to learn 
about our RAG rating system and how our commercial team use this to target key customers, Tobermore competitors 
and how our Commerical Sales Managers manage strategic accounts. 


June 2024-Aug 2024
The final few months are for reflection and career planning. Here you will take part in end of programme assessments, 
celebration, and reflection activities. You will get to present all your learnings to your manager, our HR and Learning 
and Development team and our senior management team.
