Multi-skilled Operators (Flag & Kerb Yard) 2 x Night Shift
This is a great opportunity within our Flag & Kerb Yard Division.
Night Shift working hours:
Monday to Thursday - 6pm to 6am - 44 hours
Highly competitive pay package consisting of generous hourly rate, night shift allowance and a weekly and annual bonus!
This role will provide you with exciting challenges and opportunities within Manufacturing. You will provide excellent support to the Production Team. You could be asked to work in various sections of the Flag and Kerb yard – ranging from Old Shot-blaster, Ocem, Rino, Polishing, SR Schindler, Press 2.
Your role will range from Forklift duties, Quality Inspection right through to Machine Operation and will also depend on skills, training and competencies. All roles will contribute to ensure smooth production of the company goods. You will receive on the job training. You can expect to get real life, hands on experience and learn as you go. You will be supported and mentored through work participation and receive an individual training and Induction programme.
You will earn a Basic rate of pay, Weekly Bonus and Annual Bonus. If you work Night Shift you will also earn an additional Night Shift Premium. All job roles can increase on basic rates with skills and competency!

Key Responsibilities:
• Understand production plan.
• Achieve production targets and achieve efficient cycle times.
• Using Tobermore Tablet to complete daily check/snag/ batching sheets accurately.
• Carry out all required cleaning duties at the end of the shift.
• Carry out tasks as required and deemed within your competence by your Manager
• Communicate and liaise with the next Shift Management in a shift changeover information.
• Any other duties as required which are deemed within your competence

- Interest in working within a manufacturing / Production environment
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

- IT literate
- Very well organised person.
Desired criteria
- 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths A – C.
- Previous work-related qualifications within a Manufacturing setting
- Working experience of Machinery / Manufacturing Industry
- Working experience in Production / Industrial setting
- Experience of Use of Machinery Controls
- Forklift Experience
- Production related administration experience such as check sheets/ computer or Ipad.
- Full and clean driving licence
