About the role

This is an exciting position, in our warehouse and processing team. As Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in the daily e-commerce processes at Haru. Working with thousands of individual items, organisation and efficiency are key attributes required. 

The role will involve: (training provided across each area)

Stock Listing: This role requires good administrative & numerical skills. You will be responsible for collecting and listing product details along with editing and making updates to our inventory. You will be required to review and quality control product listings.

Supervision & Training: You will be responsible for making sure that daily targets are met and will report back to senior management. As a full-time member of staff, you will be a role model to our part-time and casual workers. Your role may involve the supervision and training of other staff.

Image Processing: You will be capturing images of the items that will be uploaded across various online marketplaces. You will be required to photograph products efficiently to a set standard.

Customer Service: This role will include customer service across multiple online marketplaces ensuring customer satisfaction.

Itemisation (Inbound): We don’t accept every second-hand item that’s sent to us. You’ll be acting as quality control so will require a strong attention to detail.

Pick & Pack (Outbound): Picking out items to be shipped. Take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience by packaging each order with care.

Other duties: Occasionally you may need to provide support to other team members therefore, Ad hoc duties are also an essential daily part of the job role

What you will need

Required criteria

  • A good work ethic.
  • Strong computer literacy inc. Microsoft excel, Google Sheets etc.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to implement and follow processes.
  • Initiative to improve the efficiency of systems and processes.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • The ability to work well within a team.

Desired criteria

  • Team management experience.
  • Experience in a similar role, listing, managing and maintaining large product ranges across online sales channels.
  • Understanding of online selling including various e-commerce marketplaces such as Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Depop etc.
  • An interest in second-hand, sustainability, or fashion.
