We currently have Operating Centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland with further plans for expansion.  There is an ever-growing modern fleet consisting of over 120 vehicles and 200 trailers operating our just in time service with sustainability at the forefront of everything we do.  We are currently winners of the "Irish Supply Chain Overall Excellence Award" are "Irish Haulier Of The Year 2022" and collected the "Irish Green Transport Award" for our foods waste to Biogas circular economy fleet.

We are looking to recruit a Nightshift Transport Coordinator on a Butterfly Shift pattern to join our team at Lisburn HQ due to further market growth and to support the running of our 7 day a week operation. 

The ideal person will want to have a successful career within the transport industry and a drive for progression.

About the role

The Role:

·         Meet our customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their goods according to operating procedures and statutory requirements.

·         Tracking trailer movements and keeping our customers updated.

·         Checking supplier documentation against loads.

·         Liaising with subcontractors.

·         Briefing drivers.

·         Preparing shift handovers and measuring KPI's.

·         Learning all aspects of Transport across the island of Ireland and UK.

 

Criteria:

·         The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a transport/warehousing operation or have a strong interest in pursuing a career within the transport industry.

·         Effective communicator both written and verbal.

·         Have high level IT skills as the complete operation is digital.

·         Knowledge of transport legislation

·         Good time keeping and being able to work in a structured manner adhering to timetable requirements.

·         Problem solving ability.

·         Flexible attitude to working hours & shift patterns to support the needs of the business.

 

Terms:

 

·         Permanent Role.

·         Butterfly shift pattern (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.  Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday)

·         Hours of work 6.00pm – 6.00am.

·         Salary £30,000 - £32,500 depending on experience.

·         Additional Annual Leave (Service Based).

·         Matched employee / employer pension contribution.
